What's New as of January 24th, 2007
|
We are beginning a historic journey.
On Saturday, January 20th, 2007, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D - NY) announced her
candidacy for seeking the office of President of the United States. The prospect of me
being able to vote for a woman for President of our great land in my very first
election (in which I can actually vote!) is a history-defining moment in my lifetime.
I have lived to see the first female Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D - CA),
and will soon see the first female President of the United States.
Ain't life grand!
I have been very busy over the Christmas break and in January on my studies and planning
my summer educational experience. I have performed summer stock in North Carolina and
studied film and acting at Princeton University, for example, and am keeping my
options open for this upcoming summer. I am looking at educational studies in acting
and/or medicine - a new found interest of mine. But rest assured - no matter what I
decide to do this summer, I will chronicle those events here on my web site.
Other activities I have been involved in include cheering for the basketball team
at my school (Home School University) in Canton, Georgia. I have been auditioning
some, but know that will pick up next quarter as my braces come off within two weeks!
I also have my professional headshot photographer, L.A.-based Kelsey Edwards, booked
for a new photo session at the end of February.
My online photo gallery always has new pictures in it! Please stop by and check
them out!
As always, I want to thank you for visiting my website! Here I have stories, pictures, friends, and all
sorts of cool stuff that help tell you who I am, where I have been, and where I am going.
I have been truly blessed by having great opportunities presented to me as I travel
down this road called "Life". Here are just a couple of stops I have made along
the way.
I hope you enjoy this website and as always, feel free to ask me any question or
let me know any of your comments by completing the form on the
Contact Page.
Have a great day!!!
